The Survey Results are In
ISA in SBS - yes, it's secure
I want to thank everyone for participating in the survey. We had a nice turn out! The purpose of the survey was to make this blog better and I think that it will accomplish that goal. Some of the answers surprised me. This is a good thing. It means that I don't know it all and I'll be able to adjust things to make sure that this blog is as useful as possible. Without further ado...
The Survey Says!
Question 1: Have you visited the ISAinSBS Blog?
Yes: 75%
No: 25%
Interpretation: The existence of this survey must have raised awareness of it's existence.
Question 2: Which features of the ISAinSBS Blog have you found to be the most helpful?
How To's: 89.3%
Articles: 64.3%
Links to Community Resources: 42.9%
Links to Other Web Resources: 28.6%
Other: 3.6%
Interpretation: pretty obvious which things are useful and which aren't.
Question 3: What types of additional content would be useful to you?
Heard it in the newsgroup: A summary of ISA discussions relevant to SBS: 64.5%
knowledgeable Articles of Interest: 58.1%
How does ISA Protect... For example How does ISA protect Exchange? How does ISA make SSL communications secure? Etc: 58.1%
ISA in the News: 16.1%
SBS sized Add-ons: 71%
Other (please specify): 3.2%
Interpretation: These results were a complete surprise to me. I would have never guessed that the top two responses were going to be add-on's and newsgroup summary. I've only used one SBS sized Add-On for ISA but we'll be looking into others and reporting on them. A summary of newsgroup discussions will also be added to the site as will KB's of interest. We'll continue with the helpful articles and glad to see the confirmation that my idea for a new series of articles on the how does it do that theme is well received.
