How do I know that SBS2003 SP1 installed ISA SP1?

ISA in SBS - yes, it's secure

SBS2003 SP1 Premium contains ISA 2004 SP1. But how can you *tell* it does? In other words, when I go into ISA Manager and look at the server version, it only gives me a version number and does not indicate SP1 like *most* MSFT do. So there must be a certain ISA 2004 version number that implies SP1. Does anyone know what it is?

Thanks in advance,

Good Question. The short answer is because it says so in the SP1 documentation; we all have mothers so that phrase must sound familiar. But if you want to verify it, here's how.

Visit the ISA downloads page and select ISA SP1. On the ISA SP1 downloads page. It lists the version as 2163.213. Now open the ISA Management, expand Configuration and click General. In the middle pane click View ISA Server Computer Details.

The detailed version number of ISA Server 2004 SP1 is 4.0.2163.213.

It's a match! SBS 2003 SP1 did install ISA SP1 for us.

thanks for this

FYI I found a more up-to-date resource

PS: A table of versions would have been easier to find
