Enable iTunes after ISA 2004 SP2

A useful snippet from the ISA Server team blog.

You can configure ISA Server so that ITunes will work. Here’s how:

1. On the General node, click Define HTTP Compression Preferences.

2. On the Settings tab, add the site to the list.

3. Select the site and click Set Compression.

4. Enable Request compressed HTTP content from servers.

What General node are you referring to? Where's the ISA Server team's blog? Can you provide a link?

In the ISA Management Console, Expand Configuration, click General.

The ISA team blog is found at:

So, when you say "Add the site to the list"...well, I want to enable the iTunes radio service. What "site" needs to be added?

Check the Port requirements for this service ( may be a local / perimeter firewall issue)
